In Rwanda, Danesi partnered up with a cooperative of small growers where they source a very distinctive coffee produced with zero impact on the environment and of superior quality. What inspired them to make this choice is the role attributed to the women within the cooperative and their involvement in decision-making processes. We believe that empowering women producers in the Rwanda coffee sector will lead to the strengthening of the economic and social conditions of farmers’ communities.
Danesi Caffé's Rwanda has a full body with fruity notes of lemon and vanilla. It is complemented by a fine note of caramel. The smooth taste and creamy crema give a great texture.
The beans of the Arabica variety Arabica Red Bourbon were grown at an altitude of 1,800- 2,000 meters on fertile volcanic soil. The coffee beans were picked by hand and then washed. They were dried in raised african beds directly under the sun.
